LOGLINE: When a bio-regeneration and age regression scientist becomes a sabbatical lecturer at an underground NATO facility on the Isle of Mann, his faculty, a quirky radio telescope operator, a coven of witches and an alien from Andromeda Galaxy join to save the planet from apocalyptic calamities.
Niall Ordway joins a distinguished a faculty on an underground, seaside, NATO facility on the Isle of Man. En route, a huge sunburst nearly crashes his plane into the Irish Sea. Immediately, the NATO facility loses power, as a stranded submarine Captain and crew arrives reporting a worldwide communications blackout. Worse, a massive earthquake strikes, bringing rising sea waters which threaten to drown the facility.
A scientific article studying Arctic ice core samples proves the existence of massive ancient near earth-extinction (“Mayake”) events. The faculty concludes Earth’s apocalyptic calamities are caused by 3 simultaneous attacks. Massive solar-ejections shower the planet with radioactive poison, destroying Earth’s communication technologies. A category 10 earthquake in the Seattle/Vancouver “Cascadia Subduction Zone” shocked the planetary core, eliminating Earth’s atmosphere-protecting magnetosphere and triggering elevating sea levels. A Yellowstone Park super volcano eruption spews toxic ash, polluting the planet and threatening Nuclear Winter.
The quirky operator of the nearby SETI (alien communication searching) radio telescope discovers mysterious tachyon neutrinos flooding the atmosphere. He will use them to instantly send messages into deep outer space. He protects his computer array by linking it to both Niall’s and the submarine’s computers as a backup. Niall uses the neutrino-boosted radio telescope to contact an alien who, through advanced technology, advises him to detonate a small nuclear bomb at the volcano site to halt the eruption and restore the magnetosphere. Against great odds, the submarine commander and a faculty member succeeds in detonating the bomb. Niall joins a coven of witches to convince a reluctant pagan deity to wash land, sky and sea to restore the planet.
